The
entrance of new TV channels and the renovation of the program contents of some
others are introducing unprecedented dynamism into the local and regional TV
scenes. Pan Arab Research Center [PARC] is continually measuring the changing
pulses of the UAE TV scene.
PARC
is pleased to announce the release of the UAE NATIONAL TV SURVEY - Fall 2004.
The survey offers a
full coverage of the visual media exposure habits of adult Arabs and presents
the visual ratings by 15 minutes time segments providing a comprehensive
database of the visual media in the United Arab Emirates.

The survey was conducted over the telephone using CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) amongst Arab males and females aged 15 years and
above, of all socio-economic segments.
The total sample (n=1484)
interviews. Fieldwork was conducted
in the period of September 01st, 2004 to 27th September
2004.
Results have been weighted to represent the current
structure of the adult Arab population in the country. The study covers all
local TV channels, Pan Arab satellite channels and global satellite stations.
The results are analyzed in the form of statistical
tables by major socio-economic factors such as age, gender, family structure,
family income, occupation, area and other variables, and by day of the week.
Fully processed data is available in statistical tabulations
hosted in the PARC Index Software. All
data elements are accessible and can be used for Media Planning.
